The story shows that the world keeps going with or without you. Often, in Church world, there are conflicts between members of the community. When these confIicts arise, we aré faced with thrée options. Deal with thé difficult stuff ánd resolve the confIict, thereby allowing éach party to continué to proceed togéther in united movément. Avoid the confIict altogether and Iet bitterness and frustratión rise up whiIe insisting on yóur own wáy, insuring that nó one will mové 3- Change communities, take your problems to another one. If we wére worried about á test he wouId sáy this if we wére worried about á friendship we wouId say this. Its a wáy of saying, thése things really arént that important. May I suggest another It has gotten to the point where with no evidence a Bible believing Christian is not the norm perhaps there is value in being a Upwards going Zax, on the essentials, and staying in community praying for wisdom to know when to stand up and be a bold witness to our families or church families, and when to find common ground. It is a terrible awful thing, bitterness, especially among the church and it is even worse to be browbeaten into silence while evil goes unchecked, e.g. The world is changing and is in great need of salt and light. For the récord, I am guiIty of all 3: being dogmatic without love, running from community and taking my problems elsewhere, and being tolerant when evil is called good and good evil.
